Exam Pattern : The Exam Pattern is as follows:

- The Time Duration is 02 Hours for Each Paper.
- There is Negative Marking of 01 Marks for Each Wrong Answer.

Exam Syllabus : Exam Syllabus will cover following topics as following ………
General Studies : Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to Jharkhand, India and its neighbouring countries. Current affairs, Scientific achievements, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Scripts, Capital, Currency, sports and important events. Indian History, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic aspects, Freedom Movement, major features of Indian Agriculture & Natural Resources and Indian Constitution & Polity, Panchayati Raj, community development and 5 years Plan. General Knowledge of Geographical and Political condition of Jharkhand.
Knowledge related to Jharkhand State : Geography, History, Civilization, Culture, Language-Literature, Places, Mines and Minerals, Industry, Contribution of Jharkhand in freedom Movement, Development Plans, sports and sportsman, personality, civil achievements, national and international importance etc.
General Science : Questions of General Science will include to test knowledge of matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person who didn’t study science as a subject.
General Mathematics : Arithmetic, elementary algebra geometry, general trigonometry, mensuration. Generally, questions of Matric/10th standard will be include.
Mental Ability Test : It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series.
Basic Knowledge of Computer : The questions related to various devices of Computer, MS Windows operating system, MS Office and knowledge of Internet Operating method.
Language Test : The Language test will cover Hindi/English language Questions to assess the candidate’s personality. In this paper there will be Hindi/ English Unseen Passage and Hindi/ English Grammar Question will be asking.
Regional/ Tribal language test : Candidate can select the One Language from the above given language for the exam.

There is no Marks for this Physical Efficiency Test but it is Compulsory to Clear.
Medical Examination
Only those Candidates who is Qualified in Main Exam and PET will be Called for Medical Examination. The Medical Examination will be Conducted by Medical councilor of Rajendra Ayurvigyan Sansthan, Rachi. It is Compoulsory to Clear this exam for Selected in Merit List
